Makers´ Studio

Makers´ Studio is a collaborative workspace in Kupittaa available for engineering students from universities in Turku.

A Dedicated Workspace for Engineering Students

Makers´ Studio is a shared experimentation space for university students, equipped with group and project workspaces, materials, tools, and equipment for creating various prototypes, as well as community support. Students have access to a laser cutter, a 3D printer, and an embroidery machine, among other tools. Projects of any size, related to studies, hobbies, or theses, can be started here with ease.

Students from the University of Turku, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi, and Novia University of Applied Sciences can use the space for free. If it’s your first time, please contact Project Manager Kaapo Seppälä to schedule a safety and orientation tour. After the tour, you will receive an access card for future use. For questions about equipment and technology, please contact Lab Technician Peter Virta.

Makers´ Studio is located in Kupittaa, on the sixth floor of the ICT-City building (Joukahaisenkatu 3), entrance B.
